SAFETY NOTICE

With all the challenges we faced throughout this pandemic, we managed to get some curling in last season when many did not!!!

Thanks to everyone for their cooperation, our Capreol Curling Club members have again shown the passion we all share for the game and our curling club.


The Capreol Curling Club will require proof of vaccination status prior to the commencement of the 2021/2022 curling season.

Curlers will be required to have received two doses of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination status will be required to register for all leagues.

Masks are mandatory when entering and exiting the club, can remove when seated at tables.

Mask wearing during play is optional if you practice proper social distancing.

GENERAL RETURN TO PLAY - CLUB PROTOCOLS


For the 2021/2022 season, the Capreol Curling Club will require proof of vaccination status prior to the commencement of the curling season.

Curlers will be required to have received two doses of a Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination status will be required to register for all leagues.

A COVID-19 declaration of compliance and and a release of liability form must be signed by everyone.

All players must provide phone number and/or email for contact tracing.


Masks mandatory when entering and exiting the club, and upon entering and exiting the ice surface, can remove when seated at tables.

Mask wearing during play is suggested but optional if you practice proper social distancing

Social distancing protocols will be posted for during play.

Leagues will use staggered start times (2 sheets at 6:45PM - 2 sheets at 7:00PM)

To enter/exit ice surface use left door for sheet A - B and right door for sheet C - D

Teams will need to clean their rocks prior to games (wipes will be provided)

Clean coin (washer) prior to flipping for hammer

One person only per sheet to use scoreboard or keep score a different way

Players to touch their own rocks only (use broom or foot to remove rocks from play)

1 sweeper or 2 can sweep a rock and/or switching off is allowed, no T-Line limitations

Sweeping by skips in the house is permitted (Exception for Grady)

No beverage tables will be available near entrance to ice surface. (no cups or jugs)

The bar will only be opened on hall side only

At this time, we are keeping change rooms open but for equipment storage only - brooms and shoes.

(Please show up dressed to play and limit time in change rooms - with limited amount of people in room at one time.)


It is important to be on time, be respectful of the rules and of others.
